"Didja hear? There was a fight in the lounge the other night! Some dude broke a wine glass and jammed it into someone's mouth!"

"No way. Then?"

"He tried to run off, pushed past the boss, but the bouncer got him."

"And why do we let cokeheads in?"

"Because half the staff is on coke. As are most of their friends. So if we didn't let cokeheads in, we'd lose a nice chunk of the clientele."

"Right. I forgot."

I checked the police reports as soon as I got home. Nothing up yet. Though I did find a report about an incident near the Grove. How sad.
